Rules and Regulations

Participants and teams

NICE is open to university students and industry professionals in Kurdistan Region. You must be over the legal age (18) years of age at the date of your registration. Your team can be minimum of 1 and maximum of 4, may include a supervisor. And team composition cannot be changed after the registration deadline.

Problem Statement

Your project should contain a problem statement and you should specify the way to solve the problem. The projects favorably required in sustainable innovation in civil engineering. Your submitted project will be reviewed by a specialist team before you get the acceptance letter, unqualified projects will be rejected.

Submissions and scoring

Your project should be submitted before the deadline 5/5/2022 and the result of submission will be appearing online on 5/5/2022. Evaluation will be done based on some criteria set by Nice Organizing Committee and Departments in Tishk International University.

Sources

Your project must contain some idea that shows originality to solve problems. The quality of the project will not be considered that much in scoring, but the Jury will check the originality of the project.

Prizes

For the Final Round, we will award TIU prizes to the three teams in each category with the highest scores.

Fair Play

We expect your team to have a positive attitude during the contest. Your team should not take any action that would prevent other teams from taking part in the contest. Similarly, your team should not try to disturb or distract members from other teams. Your team must make a reasonable use of the resources provided to them by TIU.

Jury

A Jury composed of Tishk International University and Other Universities Instructors oversee enforcing these rules. The Jury will review the submissions of the teams and award the prizes. The Jury may decide at any time to exclude some participants or teams which do not follow the rules of the contest.
