COMPUTER ENGINEERING IN NICE COMPETITION

The Computer Engineering Category of the National Innovation Competition in Engineering (NICE) invites university students and industry professionals in the Kurdistan Region to design and develop innovative real-world software and hardware solutions.

Projects should address a clear problem statement and provide original solutions. Participants may use any programming language or development environment, and are encouraged to submit functional applications such as web or desktop systems, mobile apps, animation projects, multimedia tools, or robotics. Usability, interface, and technical execution are key factors in evaluation.

All submissions must be completed before the announced deadline. Evaluation will consider Documentation, Originality, Usability, Functionality, Technical Skills, and Interface Design. Animation, graphic design, and hardware control projects will also be judged on their visual impact, artistic execution, and integration with software.

All projects must be executable at the time of judging. Teams must ensure proper references for third-party code and use fair play throughout the event. Finalists will be awarded based on the highest scores determined by a jury of instructors from Tishk International University and other institutions.

    The project idea must be related to the competition innovative theme.

    Projects are based on any kind ready-made stuff or exhibiting commercial product are not accepted.

    Project exhibit a sustainable usage of natural resource management throughout the entire life cycle. Such as material, energy saving should be a major part of the design concept.

    Project must have positive impact on the social, economic and environmental integrity.
